Boulder Street Moto is home to Colorado’s DIY vintage motorcycle community. It’s a social club for vintage motorcycle enthusiasts and a secret fort for grown-ups.
Why Do We Love This Client?
Boulder Street Moto is a niche community, something we love supporting at W&K. But more than that, they exist to bring people together, and that’s deep in our bones too. The idea that friendships are created around bringing old broken motorcycles back to life? We love it. The fact that bonds are formed between pals even during a roadside repair? That’s pretty awesome. The concept of getting dapper and riding motorcycles to raise money for men’s health? Yeah, we can get behind that.
This is one of our favorite clients because, at their core, they’re about people and relationships. Vintage motorcycles are just their way of doing it.
One of the Wolf & Key founders helped build Boulder Street Moto from the ground up. This was an interesting case study in marketing: how to use modern tools to reach an extremely niche community of people. Starting with brand development and website creation, our job was to make sure vintage motorcycle lovers in Southern Colorado knew all about BSM. We used a multi-layer strategy, reaching vintage motorcycle enthusiasts in the digital spaces where they hang out.
Some of the main topics of our marketing efforts were the club’s private garage and clubhouse, community tools, fundraising events, and group rides both cross-country and local.
The way we see it, any organization can be like BSM: Use what you love most to improve your community. Amazing things happen when you give passionate, like-minded people a place to gather together. If that resonates with you, saddle up partner.
