Why Do We Love This Client?

Navakai was one of our favorite clients of all time at W&K. Their personality stood out big time in an industry with painfully predictable marketing. It’s funny, they used to say “Help us, we don’t know anything about marketing.” But in fact, they understood it on a foundational level: people love to laugh, and humor goes a long way.

Was Navakai selling computer services, networks, modems, and other blinking lights just like all their competitors? For sure. But they were doing it a totally different way. That’s why it worked.

So actually, they were natural born marketers for 20 years before we started working with them…they just didn’t understand how to use the internet as a marketing tool. That makes for the perfect partnership between Wolf & Key and a client. They were already unique, we just helped spread awareness about it.

To market Navakai well, we used a combination of different messages across different digital channels, to grow awareness and attract clients who resonated with their unique approach. We tested which messages got the best engagement on social media. We tested which ads drove the most users to their website. And most of all, we helped them raise the bar for their industry.

As fun as this work was, we also stayed dialed into the data, keeping the Navakai team informed and working closely with their leadership as the organization grew. As you can imagine, our meetings were a lot of fun, brainstorming, data analytics…and quite a few laughs.
